I made a bracelet (is that what they all it when it's for a guy?) for a male friend of mine at work. He wanted a long silver bead. I used Triton and reduced it to get the silver oil slick. He has been wearing it for about a month now and brought it back to me so I could change the clasp. I noticed that the reduced silver had really tarnished. I used a silver cleaner on it and it shined right up.

I didn't realize that the reduced silver glass would tarnish but it makes sense. I just wonder if anyone else had noticed this. I wasn't sure if using the silver cleaner would hurt the bead or not but it worked well.

I think from now on I will make sure any reduced silver is encased for the most part to eliminate that problem.
