I have almost no crayon colors. A little piece of avocado is about it. Oh, black and white too. Any recommendations? Are the GA occasionals OK? I was looking at the price on crayon colors and damn. Firsts are pricey so I'm asking. Any suppliers have an assortment of crayon colors?

Elvis Red, along with Onyx, Egyptian White Sands, all the Parramore colors (as long as you don't overheat them), Unobtanium, Crystal Bliss, Lavender, Paris Green and Aqua Azul. Those are a few of my favorite WYSIWYGs.

Big fan of Opaque Aqua (Precision turned NS) and its GA counterpart of Agua Azul, but Berry Gumbolt is a nice creamy wysiwyg... Blue metal is pretty awesome, and cobalt is great for layering over clear and thinning for various applications. :)

rasta gold is nice. but i find the yellow doesn't "pop" as nice as some other cad colors.

i find if i dial my propane pressure down to 5 psi and run my o2 at 40-50 psi i can work crayons without burning them or boiling them.

love using acid yellow crayon with thin onyx stripes to make the petals on flower implosions. It only took me two years and one Kobuki workshop to learn how to keep the crayons from boiling and leaving bubbles on the petals, but since learning 'the trick' I'm loving the crayons.
