Want to help me design my work space? - pic of blank spot

I'm not sure if anyone really wants to help with this. But I have a space in my basement, well a room that I do all my other crafts and jewelry design in. I'd like to have a place to use my torch in there too. I currently work in the garage but the weather is getting too cold and yucky and I'd love to move inside - even if just for the winter. But it has to be safe as I have 2 young children and the fumes worry me when it comes to them. I am on a hot head with the little 1 lb mapp cans. I have 1 window in the room I would be working in and 2 in the room right next to me. I have taken pictures to show you the work space.
What would you do with this space?

What would you do with this space? Is is possible to turn this into a torch station safely?
