Happy Memorial Day to everyone, and Happy Armed Forces Day. Summer's a coming.

Here are the latest two new CGBeadrollers.
BR-11801 Large Eggs
BR-11901 Ribbed Quints Pandora Style
Spending several months making example beads from every single mold was extremely helpful in figuring out what shapes and sizes are missing.

I actually thought I had enough eggs but several people have 'reminded' me that they 'needed' bigger ones. Making the examples told me they were right, and there needed to be a focal size for this difficult to make curve.

The ribbed beads are so cool as encased big hole beads, and I discovered I didn't have a mixed cavity one, so the ribbed quint is now in pandora style.

Unfortunately my torch area is getting revamped so I haven't made beads from these two new tools yet. Ok, maybe it's not all that unfortunate - we're building a teaching studio.

I have a friend (yes, I have a friend, lol) who has been asked by her craft sale customers for her to teach classes. She had no place in her house, so we set up a few hotheads in my shop last year, and she taught a couple classes. It worked out so well that we've been talking about expanding. There are 5 other teaching venues in the Dallas area, but nothing north of the metroplex. We're so excited, more info in a week or two. So, for now I'm torchless.

I just took my batch of effetre dark ivory with belladonna midnight magic from the kiln. On some of the beads, there is a yellow staining around the midnight magic. It seems to be the most on the ones where the belladonna glass was not reduced properly, but on others too. Could it be that the metals in the glass 'fumed' the ivory?
Any thoughts on this? Any chance I could get rid of the stains, and how I can prevent this in a future batch?
I batch annealed the beads, and the yellow was not there when the beads went into the kiln.

Hi! This is my first post on lampworketc. So I have been using this amazing color dali lotus. It strikes into many pastels and rainbows.. but... In the last few weeks all of my large size dread beads made with it have been cracking! Here's my kiln cycle: hold at 968 for and hour + then ramp down to 700 over two hours and shut off and leave it alone. Although the beads I'm making have a large diameter hole they are not very thick. 1/4 inch at most. Anyone use this color? Or have any thoughts about this?

I have some questions for those of you who have ever worked outside instead of in a studio.
I am a newbie to this hobby/art. All my lessons have been inside with a Nortel minor torch and have been able to garage annealing my beads. I decided to set something up at home. So I have HH with a hose from Artco hooked up to a propane tank. My space is outside on the back patio. I can always move under a covered patio if the weather changes. So far with our mild weather in the South this works but in a short period of time, not so much.

Anyways, I'm having a hard time actually seeing the flame, let alone finding that elusive sweet spot. The Nortel torch has an obvious two toned flame and is adjustable. I know that there is a bit of a learning curve changing torches but not seeing the flame is frustrating.

Please any tips and pointers would help. Along with links to HH help.
Sorry for the length, thanks for all the help
