dehoffa 2012-07-13 11:39am

My oh my what a wonderful tutorial. So professional. You should subimit this to the Soda Lime Times. It's just what Diane looks for in BOC tuts.

beadgoodies 2012-07-13 11:45am

it is just so neat and such a testament to this wonderful caring group that a collaboration developed for the BOC kiddies. Can't wait to try it!

Parrotise 2012-07-13 12:21pm

Ok, I already sent these to Sharon to get a good laugh out of. I haven't seen the actual tut yet, but she did send me some directions before she started putting it all together. Yes, I need help!! My guys came out kind of scary, not cute & cuddly, lol.

simvet02 2012-07-14 8:02pm

I sent an email with my request. Now I just need to get my kiln fixed. It went up to 1350 today, the relay stuck in the on position, scared the beebee out of me...LOL

Thanks again for all your hard work.

My first try!

My DH looked at it and asked if I ever thought about doing Lord of the Rings beads. "Huh"? "You know, the Mouth of Sauron".

Not for BoC, no.

goatmom 2012-07-15 10:16am

:rolleyes:
MEN! hahaha .. no your bead does not remind me of Sauron!
I think it look great !! Keep it up!

:happy::happy:

angelique_redhead 2012-07-15 10:20am

Actually a bead with that helmet and the mouth of Sauron would be TOO COOL! There are teens in the BOC program too you know. :love: Angelique

This was fun. Thanks for sharing with us. I think I had more trouble with the lips than the teeth. More practice, those kids won't care if they are perfect.

goatmom 2012-07-23 11:40am

Pat those are great !!! I agree, I doubt the kids would care if they are perfect either. =D>
Seeing what people make with the tutorial makes all the time in doing it worth it.
Thanks for sharing .:fireblob::fireblob::fireblob:

Sharon, just got my tut! I love it and can't wait to make some! Thank you!

justice1967 2012-09-21 9:15pm

I was just waiting for a dentist appointment one morning and screwing around with the torch in the meantime. Took this in and as soon as she asked me what was bothering me, I told her "nothing, I took care of it" and tossed this to her. Cruddy picture, but you can imagine the look on her face. :shock:
