epsom salts
I have been putting epsom salts into the warm bucket of water I clean my beads in as a a help for my sore thumb joints, has any one else tried this a s a help for those sore joints?
Supposedly your skin is able to absorb some of those trace minerals. |
Are your sore joints feeling better? I just bought 3 bags of epsom salt and didn't know why. I'll try it next batch of beads.

Huh. I use epsom salts for sore muscles and just never thought to put it into the bead cleaning water.
|
well, joints do feel better, don't know if the epsom salts are responsible but I'm going to keep using them because...why not? :)
|
Just don't rust out your metal bead cleaning tools.

Mandy, I used to worry about this until I used some petroleum jelly to gently lubricate my chuck and the shafts of cleaning bits. Even if the water splashes up that far, no worries. (I know this because I rusted out the first chuck on my Dremel)
