Anyone still using Bullseye??

It's not as exciting now that they are not making odd lots, but still love their glass. Anyone? :)

Three Muses Glass 2014-03-18 5:35pm

Yes, just today. I was looking for translucent glass and forgot all about the white, pink and yellow Mist! And thanks to you I have a metric crap ton of it.

Mostly for spacers and hollows. It's so pretty just as it is.

shawnette 2014-03-18 5:59pm

Sold most of mine a few weeks ago.

echeveria 2014-03-18 6:40pm

I just never seem to get mine out. I want to. But I don't.

squid 2014-03-18 6:50pm

I haven't been able to torch in a year and a half - I am hoping to be able to start here soon.

NLC Beads 2014-03-18 6:52pm

Yup. Loving it, switching between that and 104 as the wind blows. :)

Does double duty here because I'm a fuser, too!

I hope you get back to it soon! I torched very little for two years while my husband recovered from some health issues. It was like magic when I started again.

Me too! :)

EchoTantuli 2014-03-18 9:45pm

I used mine last week. I love it for transparent, dichroic, and CZ!

BeadBlossoms 2014-03-19 7:48am

I love it too - you can't beat BE for pinks!

LyndaJ 2014-03-19 8:41am

Yes, absolutely. I do miss their odd rods.

They come out with odd sheet glass, but it's annoying to have to use that.

KJJames 2014-03-19 8:47am

I do! Sorry, these are by no means new photos, but this has been a wicked winter. I cannot wait to get back to the torch and use more of these delicious colors.

rainygrrl 2014-03-19 9:15am

Thanks for the eye candy Karen!
Just in time for spring.

Even though I decided to focus on 104, I still have a nice stash of BE rods as well as other forms for fusing.

KJJames 2014-03-19 1:00pm

Thanks you, Roberta. We do need spring, don't we!

I'm hoping to get to the torch this weekend. I have a brand spanking new flat lap grinder just waiting to be used. I just need to make some beads to lap. I think some BE is just the glass to use :)

Elizabeth Beads 2014-03-19 1:03pm

I wish they'd bring back the freaky streaky packs!

PaulaD 2014-03-19 1:38pm

I really miss the odd lots!!

Deb L 2014-03-19 1:40pm

I love the BE colors but 2 COE's is enough for me.

Iwantonetoo 2014-03-19 4:16pm

I was fondling some bullseye stringers yesterday at Ed Hoys. Their colors are just gorgeous!! I have 96, 104 and bork now. I'm not so sure it would be smart of me to add it in, but it's way tempting.

Eileen 2014-03-19 5:13pm

I bought some colors to try, but haven't done it yet. It sure looks pretty though, so hopefully soon.

MaryBeth 2014-03-19 5:49pm

Yes! I do wish they would bring back the odd lots. OTOH, it's saving me about $200.00 every other month. I wonder if they lost a lot of regular business because of discontinuing the odd lots.

I don't buy through them anymore. I only did when I bought odd lots. It just easier to make one purchase through one vendor, if possible.

However, I love their website! Talk about eye candy!

KEW 2014-03-19 7:54pm

Since I have not been torching much, I have pounds of odd lots that I have never even tried. It will take me some time to even try all of them.

PaulaP 2014-03-19 9:09pm

I have been thinking strongly about trying out maybe a starters pkg of BE glass. From what I have read on LE it is awesome for scultping with and the colors I have seen are just gorgeous.

nagibeads 2014-03-20 2:35pm

Karen--GORGEOUS beads! Love your florals!!:waving:

Ingrid-so glad you can torch again! At the moment I'm all into 104 but I am still playing occasionally with Bullseye. Such clean vibrant colors, so fun. I love glass :tigger:

KJJames 2014-03-20 3:24pm

Aww, Nagi! Thank you! You are the reason for my BE love <3

speedingpullet 2014-03-20 5:37pm

I use Bullseye sheet glass all the time, as I probably do more fusing than lamp work at the moment.

I'm seriously thinking of switching over from 104 - one I use the pounds and pounds of 104 rods I have. Plus cutting sheet glass into strips makes it work double duty both for the kiln and the torch

chrisdd 2014-03-23 7:38am

I do. I do 104 for a while and then will switch to BE. I especially like it for encasing.

angelique_redhead 2014-03-23 8:01am

I use it. I love it. However, I LOVE all my COEs. Everyone here KNOWS I'm biglassual though. Well, multiglassual if you want to get technical about it. Angelique
