just got it! can't wait to give it a try!

I'll be getting them soon. I need more PPP on encasing. I CAN do it, I just don't do it well.

Thanks, Trish!

Marie, I'm not super fab at it either to be honest. Can't do the big gather style/encase it all at once way. I do the Swipe Method. :)

Hopefully I will have time to try it tomorrow. I am excited to play with it

Thanks, Caroline! If you have questions, PM me. I'm having family over tomorrow for a birthday bash for my son but I'll answer as soon as I can. :)

So I played yesterday ... even though I still have the dreggs of the headache (today is day three and it's still hanging on).

Love this tute. Back set is per the instructions, Laguna-ish set ... I blended some extra colors in ... and then played with other bases and colors to go for a fiery sunset and see what colors play nice. I can't wait to play more.

Laura, how gorgeous are those!!!??? WOW... I really like your blends! I like how you're already adapting the technique by throwing in more colors. :) Looks like your base glass for the top set might be more of the yellowish side. Depends on the batch as to what reactions you get. :/

Age of glass, torch setting, how I held my tongue. All those good things of working with glass.

I love, love, love how the green set came out ... wanted to go make more this afternoon but bad storms and tornado warning. Maybe later tonight!!

And really want to try to make a set with more red and orange tones of sunset!!

Thanks so much for a great tutorial (as always) and getting my muse going!!
