Three-Day Intensive Class
With the Bead-Buddies

When: Friday August 2 through Sunday August 4, 2013
Where: The class is held at Artistic Glass Studio, a wonderful Air Conditioned glass studio in rural Edmond, Oklahoma.
How Much? The class costs will be equally split between all participants, and are expected to be $380 to $420, with glass, other materials, and tools provided by each student.

This class will focus on changing the appearance of Effetre glass, by applying silver leaf, foil and silver fuming the beads. Andrea will also teach how to make complex twisted canes..... the easy way!

We will also learn how to apply dichroic glass to beads. Many of her signature beads such as the sea garden, mothwing, ammonite, salmon egg, galaxy, and flower dot bead made using double helix glass will be covered. Andrea will show us how to make murrini out of the double helix glass ..... and more....

Silver will be the focus of the third day of class! Andrea will demonstrate how to make bead caps using PMC, and silver sheet. Bead coring with tubing will also be demonstrated.
Our final project will be a textured silver bracelet made with sterling silver wire.
