Transparent pink in 104?

I want a pink that had enough color to be seen but won't turn milky when I work it awhile. I had a great bead but I used rose quartz and it got white areas in it.
I tried vetro pink transparent but it was too light.
I know someone here can help me. please.....

I see CIM blush. That looks good. Does this stay transparent?

CIM blush is my favorite glass.

CIM Pink Champagne stays transparent, but it's a color shifter if you can work with that (I know I can't)

Effetre 591067 Rose Quartz.

Well....I agree with Liz.
also...I hate to even mention Devardi b/c the stuff I got was pitiful(don't flame me I know some of you love it and use it) but they do have a REALLY pretty pink. If you can deal with the preheating/annealing and little pieces of who-knows-what embedded inside of it, then it's a nice pink glass.

I don't think I can deal with that. It shouldn't be that hard to work a glass. But I digress, it is gorgeous!

I luv CIM blush! Stays transparent and is nice and pink.

There is a CIM Rose Quartz Odd that is the prettiest transparent pink, but has to be worked hot the whole time to keep it from becoming milky. It has a a bit more color than Blush if you can find it.

Echo,
That is really pretty! I used regular rose quartz but got those milky spots. I can't risk it on a bead that takes me over an hour to create. Love it on your example though :)

catsarthouse 2012-01-27 7:13pm

Carolyn,
I have pink lady and I love it! It leans a little more to the ruby/fuchsia side. The bead I am creating needs to be a nice clear true pink.

catsarthouse 2012-01-27 7:14pm

Elizabeth,
I never tried Effetre pink. I will try that one too! Thanks!

catsarthouse 2012-01-27 7:17pm

BoulderGmonkey,
I think I will order the blush too. Thanks for the transparency info! I will let you know!

Elizabeth Beads 2012-01-27 7:26pm

Make sure you get the Effetre Rose Quartz 067 (not the Pink 068 ).

It is completely transparent, not at all milky.

catsarthouse 2012-01-27 7:27pm

Oh thank you...I appreciate that!

I use Devardi fuschia. The color is beautiful and never turns grey. I use it in place of rubino oro. It is a little shocky.
