OMG! Need to check funds & dates, crossing fingers!

BellaBean 2014-01-19 5:57am

I SO wish I could.

Shelle 2014-01-19 6:29pm

I just booked the Sunday/Monday class!! I can't wait!

Denielle 2014-01-21 6:05pm

I'm so jealous! I wish I could go.

Flamin' Francesca 2014-01-22 10:07pm

Booked for the Sun, Mon class. Looking forward to it and meeting folks.

See you all soon!

InsanityBeader 2014-02-01 3:22pm

I have my spot reserved!! I am so excited!

Tillie 2014-02-04 9:55pm

I also booked the sun-mon class! My DH finally talked me into it. I don't think I'm good enough yet to learn to really sculpt beads, but he said go for it. So I did! :)

dcaaw 2014-02-08 9:57pm

I'm booked for Friday and Saturday, so looking forward to it.

Shelle 2014-02-13 10:52am

I saw something on facebook that the 2 sessions might be different - one horses and the other sea-life. Does anyone know which is which? I had signed up assuming it was horses, if that is truly what the two separate two-day workshops are.

tilegoddess 2014-02-13 11:18am

I think the Friday-Saturday class is "Horses" and the Sunday-Monday class is "Sealife"...

tilegoddess 2014-02-13 11:21am

For those of you attending the class, I am bringing special tools for everyone, but if you could bring your own butter knife (with small to no teeth) that would be awesome! :D

And Tillie, glad your hubby talked you into taking the class! We'll have a blast and you'll learn lots!! :D

Shelle 2014-02-13 11:27am

Thanks for letting me know. The website didn't specify that they were different :-(

tilegoddess 2014-02-13 1:29pm

Okay, mystery solved... sorry for the mix up... BOTH 2-Day classes will be virtually the same.. "Horses & Critters". So, students for Friday/Saturday and students for Sunday/Monday, please PM or email me preferences for the "critters" you guys would like to learn in the class. I will demo whatever you guys would like to see but will want to teach 2-3 different beads per day of the class... and I need to order and have the right glass for the critters.... so let me know what you want to see. The most requested critters will be covered and the least requested will be demo'd if time allows...

I'm lying here awake and fidgeting about 5 minutes from Rocio's studio!! Can't wait til tomorrow morning! Woot!

Eileen 2014-03-01 9:20pm

Have a wonderful time, enjoy a little extra for me because I sure wish I was there too!

Cherri 2014-03-03 6:21am

Made it home completely exhausted. Class was excellent; Joy is a great teacher. She was patient, very helpful and encouraging to everyone. Her demos where so great, so many techniques and tips. I enjoyed it very much and learned many things. And yes, I even was able to use the minor for those of you who know me. lol, I did cook a few things. Part of learning. hehehehe. Rocio was a great host, she tried her best to make everyone feel at home. Ron was very helpful to me and is a really nice guy. So all in all it was a win, win.

Now practice, practice, practice.

Eileen 2014-03-03 7:22am

It sounds like an excellent experience, so happy for you that you were able to go!

Flamin' Francesca 2014-03-03 5:56pm

I will echo what Cherri said about Joy's class. Really fabulous tips, tricks, tools, and humor. I highly recommend the class and the studio.

JavaGirlBT 2014-03-03 6:49pm

Agreed! Great class!

R4GlassStudio 2014-03-04 12:04pm

Thank you all for coming out to the class!
If we move the studio, we will keep in touch. It sounds like a lot of you have Rocio convinced to stay in Florida! We could be expanding into Tampa?
Ron

Cherri 2014-03-04 2:20pm

Tampa!
Now that is cool..

lol

shawnette 2014-03-04 2:33pm

Leave Florida??!! WHAT???!!!!

Eileen 2014-03-04 3:36pm

What?
But Tampa is good!!!

Flamin' Francesca 2014-03-04 9:27pm

Ah, but NC is better!

dcaaw 2014-03-05 6:26am

The Bearer's are great hosts, the time always flies by in class. I'm not so homesick as you all make us feel like family. Selfishly, I don't want you to move at all, but wish you much love and success no matter where you go. Love the Wetzel Family

PS Joy's class was amazing, inspiring and laid-back fun!!!!

R4GlassStudio 2014-03-05 9:51am

Art Glass House will stay in Cocoa, but "Rocio's Studio" may move, depending where I end up as a flying home base. I will still spit time with Art Glass House, I would just be flying more. Current bases are Tampa, Burlington, Birmingham.... then a few colder places like Omaha, Buffalo and Lawrence.

Shelle 2014-03-08 7:15am

Joy's class was wonderful! If anyone ever gets a chance to take one of her classes you should absolutely do it! Detailed demo's, great tips and tricks, and lots of explanation of how to break it all down into simple shapes to make it possible for all of us to be able to succeed. Rocio and her studio were great as well - I would happily fly back to FL, or wherever she ends up, to take another class at her studio
