I need some CIM Cirrus!

Would anyone happen to have some rods of Cirrus that I can buy from them. It's currently out of stock everywhere! Thanks!

Christie, while looking for another CIM glass, I've seen Cirrus at these stores:

Thanks Larysa! I checked it out but it's $35 shipping for 2 rods. I can't afford to do that!

We have to watch when Frantz get it then (:
I am looking for CIM Anchor now.

I just ordered CIM Anchor from this site. Thank you, Eileen !

Xristie 2019-07-19 10:02am

They are out of stock too! Thanks Eileen for trying to help!

Larysa 2019-07-19 10:21am

Oh, no ! I have seen some Cirrus when ordered Anchor just at midnight.

Xristie 2019-07-19 12:29pm

I can only place an order for 1 rod!

Call them

Christie, are you on Facebook? There are two lampwork specific destash sites, and you can put "In Search of" items on there. At least one of them as a thread you add your request to, I'm not sure of the other site.

LSD Lampwork Supplies Destash (or close)
and I can't remember the other one but if you search lampwork destash, they should both come up.

echeveria 2019-07-20 7:07am

The other one is Destash Supplies for Lampwork Artists. They have a dedicated thread for ISO.

Lampwork Supplied Destash requires you to make your own separate post. I have seen a recent one seeking Cirrus though, and the only offer seemed to be for 3 rods.

Eileen, looks like I am stalking you today!

Eileen 2019-07-20 7:22am

Lol, we must have the same map! ;-)

Larysa 2019-07-20 2:51pm

Christie, I can sell you Effetre #015 White Silk 10" by 10" sheet 3 mm thin for $10 + shipping from Canada if that can help. It is similar to Cirrus. I bought 4 of them in bargain bundle from Artistry in Glass.

Xristie 2019-07-21 12:31pm

Thanks everyone for your help and thanks Larysa for offering to sell me glass! I did a little research and ordered some Zephyr in place of the Cirrus. I gave up on the Cirrus! I wanted it because I could get clear windows and because it’s not suppose to etch fast and Zephyr is suppose to be slow to etch too. Cirrus is in production again but being reformulated so the new version may be entirely different. I hope the Zephyr works!

Eileen 2019-07-21 12:35pm

I'm glad you found a solution. I was thinking Cirrus was kind of a milky white and clear mixed effect, so I'm not clear on the clear windows, but if you found a fix for your problem that is all that matters.

I was finding treasures in the back room for the Bash and do remember seeing a 1/4 lb of it.

Let me know

Mike

Xristie 2019-07-22 12:21pm

Mike, I’ll happily buy it! Thanks!

ozarkcat 2019-12-07 5:04pm

Christie, were you able to find some? I may have some in storage as we're unpacking things and setting my studio up again, and I seem to recall that being one that I liked in appearance but didn't like to work.

beadmama 2019-12-07 6:58pm

If Christie isn’t interested in the cirrus I would like to buy some.

Thx Becky

Xristie 2019-12-08 3:29pm

Hey Cat! Yes, I have a pound I’m sparingly using now so I’m good. Just using it for myself so feel free to offer it to Becky. Thanks so much for checking with me!
Christie
