What kind of frit is it?
A number of years ago I purchased some frit, but haven't used it. I have a number of containers such as:
Iris Dark Brown R-106 LSDS Iris Amber NG R191-00 Iris Orange. R-108 LSDS Can anyone tell me: Is LSDS the company name, where would I find this frit online, and especially what the coe might be? Thanks in advance for any information you can give me. Lkswolf |
Hello,
these are all COE 94 frit from Reichenbach (the manufacturer) R is for Reichenbach. The number is the Reichenbach color number. 00 is the frit grade. Most glass sellers should have Reichenbach frit. Margit |
Iris orange is what we call raku

Margit, Thank you sooo much for the quick response and great information!
Norma, Thank you too! Glad to know the info about the raku. |
R191 does something similar to Iris Orange, but more subtle. I love it over white and pale opaque glass.

I've had it at home for years, but it doesn't get any color, only some goldshine on clear . Is that correct? Sorry my english language is not that good. Thats why I read a lot and say little . Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-P610 met Tapatalk |
Hi Nannie,
RB 212 (Brilliant gold, COE 94) is normaly a striking glass. To see which color range you can achieve: http://ebbatchcolor.com/Reichenbach-...rilliant-Gold/ Hollow beads are looking really great in that color. Reduced it should get a sort of goldshine color For examples with frits: https://www.vetromagic.com/product/b...d-frit-coe-96/ I'm sure that Elisabeth (Vetromagic) would give you some information how to use these frits. Thank you Margit , for all the info. I am going to enjoy reading.
