If you could only buy 5..
 

If you could only buy five colors of glass, other then your basic white, black and clear..what would you buy, where is it from, what is it's number, and why is it so special to you?

I love the color of the EDP..i hate working with the EDP :) it goes away now till i am more experienced lol

I like ivory/dark ivory, edp, copper green, opal yellow, but there are a lot of colors I use a lot of so don't know if I could name just five.
It depends on what I am making too. For the BOC beads I use a lot of primary and bright colors.

hmmm... if I could only have five colours, black, white and clear I would buy...

I picked these because I could make endless combinations of beads with these colours that would make me happy. I could use the transparents over white for lighter colours, and self-coloured for darker ones. I have a good balance of hue contrast and could achieve some light/dark contrast by mixing with white and/or clear. And I can't live without silvered ivory stringer.

But that's really not enough colours and would be so unfair. I'd feel deprived! If I could have ten colours, my whole list would change.

I would pick ga dragons eye, persimmon, ns amber purple, ga eclipse, and clear.

Now it gets hard! If I choose something like Clio, then I need to also have something like Clockwork to be able to get the pinks & that takes me over my 5. If I choose Psyche or Gaia then I have 2 reduction glasses.

Nope. I don't think it's actually related to Mosaic Green, which was what I initially expected. That being said, it does lovely things with reduction glasses and I find it richer than the Ink Blue.

Yep, it's Effetre. Number 059; one of hand pulled ones I think. Just LE what it does with Psyche and Elektra; yum!

I'd have to switch exclusively to 96coe if I could only have 5 colors.

There's no way I could narrow it down to five. In the last three days I've made single beads with 12-14 colours each.

Pat, I know what you mean about pink. I bought lots of different ones when I started thinking my dd would like it as she wears a lot of pink. Guess what? She doesn't want pink beads. One of these days some(most) of it is going in the garage.
