Anyone know of basic cold-working/glass carving tutorial?

Best to take a class , even if it's just a week end.

In the Soda Lime Times 2013 tutorial collection I have an article about coldworking on a flat lap. Gives some basic information.

Jonathan Schmuck has an excellent book on cold working. Very detailed, by hand or by machine!

I'd love to learn more about battuto techniques. Anyone know of a resource?

Battuto is a very specific patterning over the surface of the glass and uses a glass lathe to achieve the effect. A Glass Lathe usually will run you anywhere from $7000 to $20,000 depending on where it is from. The wheels can be between $150.00 to $300.00.
