It likes oxygen. I work it in a cooler oxidizing flame and it seems to work okay. Once you have it on the piece you can heat it up more and it's usually okay.

OK Dave---- I like your first try at an Ornament--- I am going to try one myself soon. I figure I will lay some seasonal colors on some one inch tubing and flame it in-- then blow it out into as thin a ball as I can deem safe-- Anneal it--- and hang it in my office cube at work.

Beautiful work everyone. I must come and visit more often. Will finally be able to get back into the studio after breaking my right index finger in October. Really hard to work without the use of it :-(
