Please help with my redmax torch pressure

Just wondering what everyone runs their redmax at. In the manual it states to run very low pressure. Right now I have mine at 5psi propane and 10psi tanked oxygen. Is this ideal? I work boro only. Thank you

Info sheet for the Red Rocket says 2-6 psi natural gas or propane and 7-15 psi oxygen. It also recommends 3/8" (or 5/16") hoses.

Regarding 5 psi / 10 psi, that sounds like a good start, but remember if you have flash arrestors, depending on where they are located, that can reduce the available pressure by as much as 1.5 psi.

I run mine at 10 propane and 40 oxy. I work boro tube up to 50mm and solids up 32mm.

The working pressure the torch actually sees varies a lot based on the specifics of your setup and how much hose you have attached. You always have to experiment to arrive at optimal pressures.
