I've bought frit from the following. I loved them all! They both added extras to my order, which was a very nice surprise.

I'm definitely going to add http://www.if-designs.net/ to my list, though. Thanks for raising your hand, Karin!

Spiral Dance Glass Frit Blends

Hi there everyone. I decided to get into this thread so nobody forgets to check out my frit blends. I have over 135 blends so there should be something for everyone. Have fun browsing!

Susan

EstherD 2006-10-30 12:32pm

Hi Susan, I bought your sample kits a few weeks ago and they are very nice :-) . Unfortunately I had to pay a large amount of money to customs :pout: . But the sample kits are a very nice way to get to know your frits.

susanstl 2006-10-30 12:36pm

Customs

Esther,

Ouch! I try to check all the areas that give you the best advantage at customs. So so sorry! I am so happy that you liked the sampler kit. If you have any suggestions on customs, please let me know.

Best Wishes,
Susan

EstherD 2006-10-30 12:43pm

Not your fault Susan, it's the Dutch customs that are the problem. Flat fee envelopes pass much easier, but they always keep and check boxes and then add a fee you have to pay before you receive your order. So I learned from that, and now I always ask if orders can be put in flat fee envelopes. But since I ordered all your sampler kits, a flat fee envelope was not possible.

IF-Designs 2006-10-30 12:51pm

I try to use the flat rate envelopes whenever possible when sending stuff over seas but the frit containers are definately bulky sometimes! argh I wonder if thats what is holding your box up Esther? I sent it in a GPM box but it was not a flat rate box envlelope as they do not have flat rate international boxes yet....I sent an email to you today....anyway darn customs peoples!

Hi Karin, I assume you sent the email to my work address? I cannot see that until tomorrow morning, sorry. Yes that box might be the problem, because I still have not received it. So I think customs still has it. I almost hope they have it, because that means it is not lost. But I really have no idea where the box might be at the moment.

Dana

Ah, I was just thinking that. I could also start a new thread, but would need guidance on what forum it should go on.

I wouldn't mind making the list annotated if vendors wanted to send me that information. I'm thinking something like:

single glass or blends
Type of glass/COE/
Ships to (USA Only/Internationally)
Location
Specializes in (reactive class etc.)
Accepts payments types (paypall, cc, etc.)

Anything else we'd like to know?

beadgoodies 2006-10-31 12:20am

I always like to know where my package will be shipped FROM. That way, I know when to start stalking the mailman!! :D

I'm from Pennsylvania in case any one wants to know.

Candy
