Striking CiM Blush or Rose Quartz

I've gotten a beautiful translucent pink out of both of these, but can't figure out how the heck I've done it. I've tried repeated heating and cooling, but somehow I'm missing the trick. It isn't a batch thing -- I've gotten inconsistent results from the same rod, even on the same spacer bead.

Thanks!

Work it cool. The more prolonged heat, the more Rose Quartz opacifies. Blush is supposed to be a transparent, but there is an odd lot or a mislabeled lot out there that behaves more like Rose Quartz.

Thanks! Working cool is definitely not something I'm likely to stumble on on my own.
