I think I know the answer to this.

The gas guy was here today and ran a hard pipe to the garage for me to hook my torch to. The regulator I have isn't campatable to the end of the gas pipe and he didn't have the correct adaptor. Also when I looked at the fuel hose it won't hook to my Lynx fuel hose. I'm thinking I take the adaptor, hose and torch to a welding shop and they can sell me what I need. Along with an O2 hose. Right?

you will probally need a hard flex pipe, connector, crimpy thing, sealer for the hard pipe to your gas regulator, you may need two fittings for that connection then on the other side of the gas regulator that is the out to the torch you should be able to buy a gas hose that screws right onto that and then you can cut off the other end of it and it will slip onto the barb on your lynx's gas fuel connector you will want hose clamps though too dont forget those....:) Make sure to know the size of the harde pipe coming into the house and try to find out if there is any special threading or thread combo on the pipes that the plumber used. He should have also put an inside shut off valve in for you. That might have some of the sizes already on it so that might be a place to check.
