Problems with Carlisle Machine Co

Hi,
Has anyone had issues getting Carlisle to answer them if they have a torch problem?

I've just bought a brand new Mini CC from a supplier in Germany (I'm in the UK) and there's a gas leak in the 'sealed' gas joint above the hose connector.

The German supplier is being great about it. He's emailed Carlisle several times, I've emailed them and sent a video showing the soapy water test on the joint, with the resultant bubbles and I've explained exactly how I connected the torch up.

It's been over a week now since the first email and neither of us have had a reply - not even an automatic 'we've seen your email and will reply shortly' message. We know Carlisle have received the emails and video, as we've had notifications from the file downloader and the email clients.

I always thought Carlisle was a solid, reliable company with a good history of customer service, but now I'm starting to wonder if I even want their torch. What if there are problems with it in the future?

Any thoughts please?

I'm sorry you are dealing with that. How disappointing. I know Carlisle is a small family company so maybe it's just timing. Is there any way for you to call them? I would try calling first thing New Jersey time on Monday morning.

I just had contact with them not two weeks ago and they were great. Maybe something has happened. I'd send them another email. :/
