Double Helix AION-Help! Secrets for me...?

I thought the Aion would be pretty but I keep getting a transparent yellow color...are there any secrets any of you can share to get those pretty colors "capable of producing blue and green fume effects, soft transparent pinks and purples, and gold"....as quoted by Franz Glass..

Help me? ](*,)

Thank you ....Lynn

Try encasing Aion after reducing - it's very pretty!

Try it on ivory, just applied and melted. I get greens and golds. Or put it on rubino and encase, they react nicely!

Aion is one of my favorites. The trick is to reduce LAST! If it is reduced and then reheated in a neutral flame, it will revert, or lose the effects. It will, however, remain yellowish.
Try this.
Make your bead. Apply whatever Aion you wish last. Let cool slightly, then reduce in heavy propane.
Lightly buff off the "smoky" covering with neutral flame. Remember, LIGHTLY! Don't let it get to glowing red hot!
For even more effects, repeat several times. It will pull out the colors.
Hope this helps!

Does anyone have any pictures to share of the beads they've made with these suggestions. I'd like to see. Pretty please. :)

This is one of my favorites. I'm keeping it for myself!:p
Any way, Base of cobalt trans., Gaia, Aion, and an unknown trans. white.
Most of the effects are from the Aion. Heavily reduced, multiple times!
Yellows, oranges, greens are prominent though.

Here's another I found. Black base with Aion only. Heavily reduced.

Try it over River Rock and here is a pic:

These are Aion on dark ivory, with rubino, and Aion stringer on Supernova, encased.

Oh great beads everyone!
I have exactly 1 rod of this stuff. I wasn't sure what to do with it and didn't want to waste it experimenting trying to figure it out.
Thanks!

Most of the silver colors do really well on SuperNova. Mary that's nice!

Michel I LOVE that first bead - I'd keep it too!

I didn't have a lot of luck with it on ivory, but this week tried on black and cobalt, it turned out really cool.

Thanks Paula!

Very beautiful beads, I also try, but so far I’m not very good at drawing out such pure colors.
