Sarah Hornik's new 100 COLOR IDEAS for Glass Beadmakers
Sarah Hornik has published a new e-book called "100 Color Ideas for Glass Beadmakers." I think Sarah's color schemes are TDF so bought it immediately. Just finished my first read through. The 100 color recipes are terrific, but the "tips" Sarah includes on most of the beads are fantastic - the bonus icing on the cake. Highly recommended!!!! FYI Sarah is not a personal friend, just another lampworker whose work I greatly admire.

I absolutely love mine, only got a chance to skim it so far so will curl up and have some me time with it later!
Sarah the eye candy in this tutorial deserves to be in a book, I stayed up way late drooling over all the beauties!
Just thought I'd pop in to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for all your kind words and support! It makes me so happy to read that you're enjoying this e-book. I hope you all have fun with the color combos - and if you have any results, please do share, I'd love to see them!

The very best things about this e-book to me:
1. The tips distill Sarah's experience with each glass that she learned from working with those colors 2. Colors are very specifically identified with alternatives suggested for those colors that may no longer be available I felt that I was in a Sarah workshop as I read through the book and I started to mark pages with Post Its, but gave up as I was marking nearly every page. Sarah's methods are all about expanding the colors available too. |
