County fair of about 200,000 people in county, 5 days wed-sun about 4pm-11pm, $400?

That's a great deal, here the spaces run about $800.00 for a venue that size.

That's what I thought :) I'm very excited and am prompted to quit smoking to obtain extra funds ($150/month) I'm on a budget but I can pull this off. It's in sutter county (45 miles north of Sacramento, ca) if anyone wants to split any days, let me know- I've asked one of my friends via email and am waiting for a reply from her first

Do it - sounds like a pretty good deal. I sometimes break down the numbers - something like this.... 7 hours per day X 5 days equals 35 hours. You would need to do $11.43 an hour in sales to get your booth fee back....

Plus you never know what kind of networking you can do or after the show business.

I'd feel more secure splitting the booth with someone :)

Sounds like a wonderful deal to me! ;) I'm hoping you can do it. And by "it" I mean both getting the booth and quitting smoking! I'm just over a year and 4 months quitting - I used the e-cigarette (vap cig) to do it. After 34 years of smoking, I was losing faith. The e-cig made a huge difference.
