home made glass rack

here is the rack i made from pegboard and wooden dowels. still waiting on my shipment of other sizes of clear boro rod, but right now you are looking at 8mm and 10mm and on top that is 25mm heavy wall. the green thing on the side is a garden clipper sharpener...it is a carbide glass cutter now. i got it from lowes for 6-7 bucks.
i didn't know what i was doing when i cut the 25mm heavywall so that's why there are 45degree breaks..haha. feel free to rip off this design. i ripped off timiaglass from youtube. justin |
Looks good! Great idea!

thanks...i made the farthest piece hang over the edge so i could clamp it to my table...no slipping, sliding, or moving around!
|
excellent work !

Great rack and probably didn't cost much either. I see a trip to Lowes in my future.

I bought a partial sheet of pegboard..it wasn't quite a half sheet. i might have been a third or quarter sheet. it was about 4 bucks...then i bought some wooden dowels for 60 cents each. i have some pegboard left over too. I could make another one but i ran out of room on my bench! it cost about 7 bucks.

the dowels were 3 or 4 feet long by the way...i cut them down with a hacksaw
