Flashback Arrestor

Hi! I'm trying to figure out what to do. I moved after not having used my torch for around 10 plus years! Now that I'm finally getting set up again, I can't find my flashback arrestor that I used at the regulator. (I have an oxycon so no need for one there).

Does anyone have one they aren't using for the regulator/fuel side that I could borrow or buy? I could return once I find mine in all my packed stuff. I really want to torch before the weather gets to hot in Florida and time is of the essence. I'm happy to pay for it and, or shipping.

Editing: OK, I looked online at E-Bay and they aren't too terribly expensive, but I just want to be sure I buy the right one since I can't really ask the seller if it's right for my particular application. Here is one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Acetylene-o...S!-1:rk:8:pf:0
What do you think? Correct size?
Thank you bunches for your input!
If this needs to go somewhere else like the For Sale forum please move. I wanted the most people to see it so hope that's OK.

Success!

Well, that was fast! I ended up buying a regulator arrestor for $4.00 with free shipping! I thought they would cost a lot more than that. Should be here on Friday. I really need to shop on E-Bay more often. :)

And I still have my Hot Head to keep me busy until then (even though I should set up my studio better.)
Thanks for looking at my post! :waving:

Using an arrestor is great insurance. Keep it safe out there.

Not sure if one is needed when running an oxygen concentrator setup?

Any guidance on this is welcome.

Best to all.

Hi BKingery,
Thanks! And to answer your question, I use an oxygen concentrator and no, a flashback arrestor is not needed for it. If it were an oxygen tank than yes it would need one.

Cheers!
