Gun mounts price?

I have someone who will buy my gun mounts but I can't find a price. If you were selling, what price would you sell them for?

Elegance_1 2017-06-29 5:48pm

No one has an opinion even? If you bought some what did me you pay?

Two or three hours on a Thursday evening is a pretty short time frame for a reply about gun mounts in a lampworking forum.

I am assuming these are used for arm rests while torching?

Nope ... they are glass that is pulled (removed) from old TV tubes (CRT) ... I'm guessing by the name they were used to mount the "guns" on for the tube.

I searched on Talk Glass and finally found a picture. They seem not to be in great availability these days ... lol.

Last pricing anyone mentioned was getting 5 pounds for $45. But Talk Glass had a birthday auction that I didn't see if it was still posted to see what the ending bid was.

Do you have a photo? If you auction them on FB you might do best.

This is where you buy/sell gun mounts:

You should be able to search for past prices and discussion threads on gun mounts. For the right colors, you will get a good price.

I've heard about $100 per lb now. The white seems most in demand
