Concentrator compressor repair
 

Trying to rebuild a Thomas 2450 comptessor in my everflo concentrator. I have done this on other compressors but not able to find much info on this one. I have everything done but cannot seem to figure out how to remove the old piston compression ring and metal outer cap. Seems like they are simply stuck together but cant pry them off.Any help is appreciated

This probably doesn't help but for another model at about 3:40, it looks like nothing is holding them once you remove the retaining screws
