Have you all seen Greg Hoff's lily bead?


I am so a newbie and perhaps you all know Greg's work, but I found this on a website and thought it was really stunning....

Any ideas on how he makes these? It is far beyond my skill level, but really admire his work and am so curious about how he makes them.

it looks like it has been done with boro tubing and cut open , but I am not sure:)

Take a piece of tubing and lay lines inside it. That looks like a piece of ruby tubing. Heat it, cut it open, and shape it.

Naturally, there is a lot more involved than that. Those are the steps, but not the technique. That can only come from practice.
