Gorgeous!!

Karen Hardy 2010-12-29 12:45pm

Do you have a full index (and pictures) of what this shows you how to make?

R4GlassStudio 2010-12-29 1:00pm

Karen,
It is beyond just a how to make one piece tutorial. It goes into detail on how implosions work, how color moves and how to create special effects with color. It gives the reader a complete understanding on implosions to the point where they can see one, and know how it was done. Hope this info helps.
Ron

Hi Ron,
I'm assuming this is an ebook for download, can you give me an idea how many pages? Is there a lot of pics for someone like me that needs to see the purty pics to really "get it"?

R4GlassStudio 2010-12-30 9:32am

Hi,
It is 13 pages. It has a (one page reference chart) with 18 graphics showing step-by-step without words.
The following pages go in great detail, talking about each step.
Then there are cane formulas on how to create 11 cool looking flowers. The last page is a gallery of 15 marbles. There will be an extra page emailed out in a day or so which includes some flower implosion patterns too.

J.Meader 2010-12-30 12:33pm

Ok you got me, I have been facinated with implosions for awhile now and lately that seems to be the only thing I want to make when I get to the torch. Looking forward to learning some new insights as to what is happing during the imploion process.

Hi Ron,

I love your work, it's absolutely stunning!
I'm using mostly soft glass these days, would your techniques apply to the 104 as well? I have very little experience working with boro, so I didn't know if your tutorial would work for me right now.
Thanks!

Emailed ya a question R4 :)

R4GlassStudio 2011-01-06 11:24am

Rocio is planning on doing a soft glass version. This one covers the how and why implosions do what they do. It also gives the reader the ability to create new color shifts and implosion styles. It can be used in soft glass as well.
Rocio's version would have new techniques unique to soft glass. I have no idea which direction she is going to take it, but it should be good.

R4GlassStudio 2011-01-06 11:39am

Steven, I sent you an email back. Thanks and please keep the questions coming.
Ron

J.Meader 2011-01-06 11:58am

I got your second email with the patterns, Thank You. I have to say this kind of information is priceless. I have serched for implosion patterns before with no luck and the ones you shared are very nice. I will be trying these out over the next couple days/weeks. Would love it if you had more of these to share !!

Thanks again,
Jeff

I own most all the boro tutorials as I love to read and learn what makes other artist work come alive. Even if I know the hows and whys of how the tutorials are done I still try and support my fellow boro artist.

With that said, this tutorial is the best boro tutorial I have read. It is the tutorial that just keeps on giving. The information that Ron Jr. is sharing is not out there anywhere I have seen on the internet or in any other tutorial free or paid for. It is well worth your money, not only for the information but then in the mail you will receive the most amazing marble. I had to laugh as I didn't even read that part, I was so excited to get this tutorial and had no idea why Ron had sent me the stunning marble.

The implosion techniques are really something we can all learn something from. This is coming from someone who can already do a pretty decent implosion. Yet I am learning the hows and whys. The color information is invaluable.

If you are like me and love boro, like implosions but marbles are not your thing. All of the techniques in this tutorial work in pendents just as well as the marbles Ron is showing in this thread.

I was impressed when I received my first copy and just a little bit ago I received my third follow up! I am truly amazed, I was happy with the first 12 pages, thrilled with the next couple of pages, and now I am just blow away by this amazing information that just keeps on coming.

If you are considering it, I highly suggest you purchase this tutorial. You wont be disappointed.

barbaracollins 2011-01-12 1:25pm

The tutorial is great!

R4GlassStudio 2011-01-12 2:54pm

I have no words......
Thank You very much for the feedback! I hope you enjoy the new direction this is taking. Both add-ons are now part of the tutorial, so when someone new orders it, it will come in one email (one file). I do plan on doing two more add-ons.... complex cane and multi-directional imploding. Sounds fun, right?
Thanks again!
Ron

sangell 2011-01-12 7:06pm

I had put off buying this tutorial as I haven't been doing much melting glass lately. But I figured what the heck, I'm glad I did. It has rekindled the passion, I am going to restart my marble making.

Thanks Ron!
