Beads of Courage in LAMMAGA
LAMMAGA is the journal of the Japanese Lampworking Society and Jean Baruch, Emiko Sawamoto and I wrote a three part article on Beads of Courage for the current issue. Japan has two Beads of Courage programs and I hope this issue brings overwhelming support from the Japanese beadmakers!
I just got my copy in the mail and was surprised and tickled to see a bead I had donated to the Kobe Glass Museum at the Gathering in Minneapolis in there as well! Coincidence? Even if you don't speak Japanese, this magazine is SO worth a look. The eye candy is knock-your-eyes-out amazing!! To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Malcom carries copies if you want an easier way to order one! |
Thanks for the plug, Carol!
That is issue #15, which I'm still waiting for (hopefully it will come with my next shipment from Japan). I do have most of the back issues, though (1-14). My price is $17 each plus shipping. Malcolm |
The have a lovely magazine. My bead was in a recent addition allong with the rest of the show (Perspectives) through ISGB. It is more like a book than a magazine, the paper and quality is so hight.
