wing tutorial
Here is a test youtube video I did. It is a tutorial on an easy technique to make wings. I cut the video into two parts, each about 11 minutes long. The audio quality isn't great but hopefully it will come in handy.
You can also use this technique for fins, leafs, dragon manes etc. Wing tutorial: Part 1 Part 2 |
Cool, thanks! :)

Thanks for sharing.. Your bench looks a lot like Trev's (Except I think his has more STUFF/misc whatevers on it)
|
very cool. thanks for sharing! I need to try this technique out. I've been trying to figure out how to get some symetrical butterfly wings and this looks like a good way to make left and right look even. Just make two sets and put them together and I think I'll have a winner. you da man!

Hi Justin!! Good to see you around. That is the exact reason I started trying to figure out this technique. I wanted symmetrical wings. When I hit upon this I found it to be so simple. I hope you post your results.
This technique is like cornbread.... it's all good! Hahahaha I just can't help myself, sorry. |
Thank you :-D

You're welcome... let's see some people start making and posting wings and what they do with them.

Wonderful videos - thanks!

Thanks for the tutorial Otter! Tried it last night and it worked great. With both wings attached to the same punty its easy to get them to look alike. I'll try to post pics of my first wings with this technique soon.

This is a terrible picture...it was late and I was in a hurry.... but these just flew out of the kiln.
