Awesome stuff! Brayjr, that pendant is TDF, and the turtle is just stupendous.
Earl, the heart with the ribbon (?) is fabulous. Love it. James, the gauges are really pretty. I've been playing too. Still learning, of course. Tubing stuff: http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...o/IMG_0312.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...o/IMG_0317.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...o/IMG_0324.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMG_0306.jpghttp://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMG_0307.jpg |
Wow that photography on the glass tabletop is decieving, looks like the subject is floating in the first 2 pix., & nice work!

Great to have you back, I remember when you started your adventure back in 2010.
You posted a lot in the beginning then lost contact. I kept checking your blog but seemed Iike you just disappeared. Oh well doesn't matter, just hope you had tons of fun and met great people along the way.......Val Quote:

I was intrigued with GA's Andromeda but couldn't find many pics of it so I went ahead and bought some anyway! Now I'm in looooooove. This is GA Andromeda over clear with NS Super Unobtanium for the mane and forelock. I wish the pic showed the sparkle better........thank God for sunny days! :)

Good to know and thanks, but I was actually talking about JR (brayjr4484), the guy who started this Thread............Val

I love the turtle Brayrj4484 and James, what is a "gauge" all about?
A little change in direction here with a blown bead. cheers, Bernard |
Beautiful horse sculpture
And I'm blown away by the visual textures in the bead, Bernard. |
Gauges are large ear peiecings. The ones shown are on 6 mm rod and tubing.

Very nice, James.
Still playing with encasing tubing and blowing bubbles  I suck at loops, so I'm finding different ways of hanging them. These work, but need some refinement. This top one I've been wearing and it works very well. http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMGP7650.jpghttp://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMGP7651.jpg Liking the idea of a vine type hanger. Love this green glass, but the silver wire was a bad idea. Fireworks! http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMGP7655.jpghttp://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMGP7656.jpg Working on the loopless tops, I've learned that there is only so far you can pull tubing before it's too delicate to use. But I'll rework this one. It's too pretty not to (IMHO). http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMGP7660.jpghttp://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMGP7658.jpg Vine hanger again: http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMGP7666.jpg Liver. Yay. But liking the ruffles and the roundness: http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMGP7667.jpg What was I thinking??? An accident but I feel an idea coming on :-D http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...t/IMGP7671.jpg |
Cool experimenting with the different hanger ideas! :)
