Making flowers to use with fused glass

Hello, I am new to Lampworking and I also fuse glass. I would like to use some of the bellflowers in my glass fusing. Can someone tell me how to do this without having to use a wire? Would not be able to fuse the flower with a wire.
Thank you.

you might need a press like the kind that silk flower pressers use, more sideways. I've not tried them so I don't know if the quality of the brass will hold up to the heat. examples here- https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/collect...g_id=943965504

This should give you some interesting results!

Wire in fused glass isn't a problem. If you make your bellflowers on stainless steel or nichrome wire, it won't react. Copper will blacken, brass will give you massive bubbles! If you don't want the wire to show, just nip it off at the base of the flower. Or you could incorporate the wire into your design.

Of course you will need to use the same COE glass for the lampwork and the fused parts.
