Gaffer Glass Question

I was just browsing the Gaffer Glass website. I used to use them all the time when Valorie Cox sold them. I love some of the colors!! Does anyone use them and if so can you show us some of your beads? I'm especially interested in the transparent colors. Thanks !

There is an awesome thread here somewhere. I will look for it. I love Gaffer, no bead pics though

See if that works

They are the ones who came up with replacement colors for Zimmerman Purple Rose Special and Lilac Rose Special. Some people think that they perform as well as the originals and are less prone to devit. They also have some beautiful Lustre colors and there are also their 2 Chalcedony colors that I like better than the Reichenbach Multicolors.

thanks for the info. I looked at the Gaffer thread and fell in love with all the colors. Now I need to figure out where to put yet another glass in my stydio ;0

They recently came out with a 104 clear. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm hearing great things about it.

Really? I didn't think they did 104 anything...

They've got some of my favorite blues - steel blue, denim blue, oceana... Red lustre is probably my favorite transparent reds... Mushroom and chameleon are fun... I just ordered some of the grey, jade, and black lustres (because of course when I saw this thread I had to shop), can't wait to see what those do.

Guess I know what glass I'll be using tonight. :)

Where can I see pics of the lustres being used in beads????

In that thread I link to - there are a few in there

I was surprised, too. Apparently, they got wind of all the complaints about 104 clear and decided they could make a better one.
