Silver glass and wire reaction

I’m asking for assistance in achieving the copper bubble look with silver glass - I’m seeing wonderful beads from artist Masha Levitin. I’ve asked her about the process but no luck. Any help available? I thought it was brass wire but did not achieve the effect in my trials.

my suggestion would be to use an encasing glass that turns the silver darker, like clear yellow

I tried a few things, no luck yet either. I wanted to go look for a thinner gauge brass or copper wire, like the kind used for weaving. So 36 maybe? I've got some somewhere.
There was a thread or two on here back in the day, one of the European artists did a small tutorial I believe. See if I can find it,....there was a bit of a fuss at the time as it was supposed to be someone's work, or they had a tutorial for sale on it?

here it is, it is using brass shavings, but very thin wire ought to be very similar
