Even Schott will oxidize a little so some peeling will still be needed for the best end result but, Schott is imho the best soft glass available to use for projects that require the most clarity.

I have the same torch and tip and yes it does get a bit warm. I would definitely use a second concentrator as I use two for mine and it works pretty good.

She sent them to someone who brought them back up to temp and then sprayed them. She did not do them IIRC.
