Premix are still hotter than GTT. So it is accurate.
If you take a Red Max with a premix top fire with an HTC 3 tip, about the size of a Lynx, the premix will blow the Lynx away.

What kind of torch? I'd spend the extra 150.00 and get the 1000 cfm if it were me. There are several on EBAY. 2 ninety degree elbows is going to really hurt the performance.

Or you can coat a piece of glass with carbon. Carbon burns off at around 1050 F. Which is the annealing temp for boro. I always coat my piece to make sure it reached annealing temperature.
