Glass follows the heat! Try holding the mandrel as horizontal as possible and slowly move it side to side to melt in the dots instead of focusing down the middle.

I run a Lynx w/2 oxycons about 40 - 50 per week. Propane set to 4 and a bbq size tank lasts 3 - 4 weeks. Soft glass beads.
