I haven't applied it to boro, but yes, on 104, if the piece is worn constantly the leaf will start to wear. It's more suited to pieces for occasional wear.

It's probably 96COE for glass blowers. I've got #0 to #2 sizes, and the #1 is the one that looks like beach sand. Useful in small amounts on the surface of 104COE beads.
