i wouldent worry about the 25 feet of hose its just a flame now if something happens inbetween hose and reg the propane tank might blow up and the regular bbq tank sized ones leave around 25foot dia....

with a 3 key controller can you program a boro and soft glass annealing cycle and program things like holding at the temps for boro and soft glass to just take out of the kiln and thrw in the torch?...
