Just a thinking; nichrome is an alloy between nickel and chrome, right? Nickel is not good for you to wear directly on the skin. It could give you allergy and eventually make you allergic to coins....

Like Jeannie says, it's a bit stiff, but holds up beautifully in the flame. No compatability problems for me either.

My favorite lauscha colors are Steel blue, cocoa, olive and trans red.
Just remember; they need to be annealed at a higher temperature!
I have had lots of beads crack using trans red and annealing...
