I don't think those would work. Those ard designed to capture particulate. You need to vent harmful fumes out of your work area. The only way to do that is to vent it outside.

I used some 104 stringer on top of a 96 bead and every one cracked. 96 frit on a 104 bead, however, does not crack. You could try it. 104 over 90 dichro (the dichro was mislabed) nearly exploded.

I believe it is 100-125 CFM per sq. foot of hood opening. So if your hood opening is 2ftx2ft, you would need a 400-500CFM fan. If your hood opening is 2ftx3ft, you would need a 600-750CFM fan.

I do the same thing. I use a marver to nudge them into place as I'm heating and melting them in. It helps a lot!
