Question Fuel (Propane) Pressure Regulators Questions

Hi,
I have a couple questions about regulators for propane.

1. Do I want a two stage or will a one stage regulator work and if not, why? I'm using a surface mix torch- the Mini Carlisle if that matters.

2. Wouldn't it be better to use a propane pressure regulator rather than an Acetylene pressure regulator?

I don't remember ever reading anything about them back when I was last lampworking, but I just read that a propane regulator will hold up much better since propane is much more corrosive than Acetylene and a propane regulator takes that into account by using materials that propane won't corrode unlike an Acetylene fuel regulator.

Makes sense to me but what do I know?

Thanks so much!
