Oh yea!! I have had plenty of the flying glass spots.Shocky glass burns. And I burnt my wrist once when I first started with a hothead 3rd. degree. It wouldn't heal, I'm diabetic. So I had to go back and forth to wound clinic till it did. That wasn't pleasant at all. I had shocky glass land in my bra once and burnt me,my bra, my tea shirt and my pride. I got me a swaid apron and those days are over. Well worth the money I say. Also stop getting in a hurry and dance my rods in and out of the flame more. If you play with fire you will get burnt.
