Nicely done explanation. The only comment I have is that oxygen and petroleum products do not play well together. While this _may_ be of concern only with high O2 pressures, there is a serious reason (Boom!) for the "use no oil" printed on every tank O2 regulator. Do not be tempted to lubricate any connection in this system!
