update on Connor's surgery
I just got a phone call from Tamara, Connor's mom. She asked me to update everyone. We can all breathe a sigh of relief. His surgery was expected to take 12 hours and lasted about 7. It ended up being much less invasive than they had anticipated form the scans etc. The surgery was Tuesday and he was moved to a regular room today and out of ICU. this is very unexpected and excellent news. They had originally planned for a 6 week stay in the hospital and now it looks like a 2 week stay. The doctors and nurses are amazed at how well he is doing and how fast he is recovering. HIs heart is doing very well and little connor is sore but doing well....
