I love Astrid's tip and have been applying it when using my silver glasses today. Works like a charm.

I have a burning question because of something that happened recently:

1. When you torch on another torch with another source of oxygen (concentrator vs. tanked O2) does it affect your color that much?

I was at a friends home and she has a GTT Cheetah with tanked propane and O2. I have a GTT Cricket (which I LOOOOOOVE) with O2 concentrator and propane. She wanted me to teach her how to get the great colors from the silver glasses and I could not no matter what we changed or tweaked with the gases get good color from her set up.

I usually work with very low (short candle) heat while torching silver glasses. My concentrator will say 3 lpms and my propane is at 1. The flame is oxygen rich.

What my very long winded question is, is it easier to get great color with lower heat? When I was at my friends we weren't able to get any color. We weren't over reducing either.

There is my novel........Thanks!
