Hi Julie, definately for large diametre cane, the band saw or the MK radial saw will be better. You will have more loss of glass due to the thickness of the blades, and more polishing to do due to the diamond abrasions, but definately what you need for really large millefiori cane. Anything a-la-Loren-Stump finished cane would need a saw and not a chopper.
