I just recently purchased Passing the Flame. I got mine from Arrow Springs for the $75.00. It't out in my studio, but from what I can remember it looks like a hard bound book from the outside. The spiral is on the inside and is protected be the spine of the book. And it does lie nice and flat. I think that Corina self-published this book and it isn't available through channels such as Barnes and Noble.
